My name is Dr. David Podgurecki and I am a family physician. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. I was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and immigrated to the US in 1995; I became a US citizen in 2000. I did my premedical from University of Western Ontario, London, Canada in 1973. I went on to do my MD from The Autonomous University of Guadalajara, in 1977. From 1977 to 1978 I did my internship at University of Saskatchewan, Canada. I did my Social Service in Pediatrics in Laredo, Texas from 1978-1979. In 1980 I was a physician/surgeon at National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City. I went on to do my residency in family medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada from 1979 to 1981.

I was Teaching Head of Family Medicine, Regina General Hospital, Canada from 1983 to 1995. From 1983 to 1995 I was Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. I served as President of Regina and District Medical Society from 1993-1994. I was on the Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan, Canada from 1993 to 1995. I was Preceptor of UTMB (1995-1998) and preceptor Nurse Practitioner Program, UT at Arlington from 2001-2021.
My work history includes Private Practice in Regina, Canada from 1981-1995. From 1995 to 1998 I worked with Mid Coast Medical Center, El Campo, TX and Memorial Hospital, El Campo, TX from 1995 to 1998. I worked as staff physician at Your Health First in Arlington/ Mansfield, Texas from 1998 to 2001. I have been with Private Practice, Mansfield, Texas from 2001 to present.
I am married and have four children. I enjoy home construction projects, remodeling, and spending weekends in the country at my lakeside home.
