We have recently become aware that some of our patients are receiving fraudulent phone calls and text messages from individuals falsely claiming to represent IntraCare.
Please be advised that these calls and messages are scams.
These individuals are not affiliated with IntraCare and are not authorized to contact you or offer any services on our behalf. Rest assured, your personal and health information remains secure with us and has not been shared with any unauthorized parties.
These fraudulent communications vary in content, but two specific scams have been reported:
Genetic Testing Scam: The caller falsely claims that IntraCare physicians have reviewed your bloodwork and are recommending a cheek swab genetic test to screen for autoimmune diseases.
Appointment Scam: The caller falsely offers to schedule virtual appointments with IntraCare providers listed on our website.
Please note that IntraCare:
Does NOT offer cheek swab genetic testing for autoimmune conditions.
Does NOT schedule appointments over the phone through unsolicited calls or messages.
We strongly urge you to be cautious if you receive any such communication, especially if you are asked to provide personal or financial information such as your full name, date of birth, Social Security number, bank account details, or credit card information.
IntraCare will never request sensitive personal or financial information via phone or text message.
